Built for runners with real lives

Half Marathon & Full Marathon

The Busy Runner

You're training around a full-time job, maybe kids. You don't have time to weigh food or log meals. You need a plan that works without a second job.

The Under-Fueler

You're putting in the miles but not eating enough. You're losing weight mid-cycle, bonking on long runs, or showing up to race day dehydrated.

The First-Timer

You've never thought about race nutrition and don't know where to start. We give you a simple plan from day one of training.

Why we're building this

When I trained for my first marathon in 2024, I had no idea how much I should be eating. I was under-fueling without realizing it, didn't know how much sodium I needed, and showed up to race day dehydrated. I lost weight I couldn't afford to lose during training.

Most nutrition apps are built for people trying to lose weight, not for people running 40 miles a week. The advice is backwards: eat less, track every gram, restrict. That's a recipe for bonking, not racing.

We built Banana Bagel to make sure runners are eating enough of the right things — carbs, protein, and fats — to complete a full training cycle. Whether you're eating out or cooking at home, Banana Bagel focuses on a diverse, quality diet without making you feel like nutrition is a second job.

We're building this alongside a small group of early runners. Not for everyone. For the ones who want to show up fueled.
